We at Addy Rose Hair Studio have taken it upon ourselves to sponsor St. Baldrick’s Brevard this year. This foundation is very close to our hearts and we believe with enough commitment we will be able to find a cure for childhood cancers.
The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a childhood cancer charity funding research to help find cures for children with cancer. The Foundation raises money for childhood cancer research primarily through head-shaving events.
The “shaveee” ask friends and family to make donations “on their head” and in return, they attend one of thousands of volunteer-organized events around the world where they have their heads shaved in solidarity with kids fighting cancer. Events have taken place in all 50 US states and 28 countries. Lucky for us, we do one here locally every year.
